The Heritage Caravan is an annual event held in Ghana that aims at promoting the country’s cultural heritage and tourism. The event involves a week-long road trip through various historical and cultural sites in Ghana, including museums, notable palaces, and heritage sites.
During the Heritage Caravan, participants [Caravanites] get to experience the diverse cultural traditions of Ghana, such as music, dance, food, and clothing. They also have the opportunity to learn about the country’s history, as well as interact with local communities and artisans.
The Heritage Caravan is organized by Citi TV/ Citi FM in collaboration with other stakeholders in the tourism industry.
Heritage Caravan attracts participants from different parts of the world. The Heritage Caravan takes place in the month of March every year.
