Twenty-four-year-old Joana Ababio, an administrator at Yeemart International School has her eye on the prize and would not give chances to any of her competitors to grab it.

Joana, who prefers to be called Oye in the contest, is a graduate of Akim Swedru Senior High School and the University of Professional Studies, Accra.

Come Saturday, she will be proving to the world, all that she is made of in terms of music.

The other contestants are Cleck Boyson, Sandra Ntiful Idara, Samuel Adjasoo, Kennie Kings and Genevieve Antwi-Nuamah.

The rest are Franklina Konadu, Stephen Baiden-Worgloh, Deborah Aflakpui and Charisma Logo.

The judges for the show, music producer Kaywa, rapper EL and gospel musician, Edinam Bright-Davies will play a crucial role in assessing the performances of the contestants and ultimately decide who wins.

With the aim of unearthing music talents and putting them in the limelight, the contestants will be taken through voice training and other grooming tasks that will harness their musicianship.
